On july 13 2008 professor Bronisław Geremek died in a car accident in Poland. He was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Poland from 1997 to 2000, deputy of Polish and European Parliament. He was a distinguished statesman, one of leaders of the movemement "Solidarność" and architect of political changes in Poland and Europe. | |
